Who is Helen Redfern?

Helen Redfern is co-founder and co-director of Green Heart Collective.

She is a skilled and experienced copywriter, proofreader, reviewer and interviewer. She’s written for Yogamatters, Henpicked, NARC Magazine, Huffpost UK, Optimus Education and SPCK, as well as her own blogs Pretty Vintage Life and Embrace. She is also the self-published author of two novels, ‘Secrets Such As These’ and ‘embrace’, and the biography ‘Martha & Me’

Having stayed at home to look after their five children for many years, Helen took up a role as the Community Life Champion at Asda Living Gateshead and thoroughly enjoyed her role there for 3 years. She moved on to become the in-house writer at Yogamatters, writing copy for the Yogamatters website and interviewing yoga and wellbeing experts for the blog.

Just before lockdown, she left Yogamatters to pursue her vision to set up her own independent business selling reworked preloved clothes online. Over the next few months, her vision evolved into Green Heart Collective.
