Sew with us
So many people lack confidence when it comes to using a sewing machine - and it really isn’t as hard as it seems! Helen offers introductory sewing lessons for individuals or small groups to share her love of sewing with others. Helen is largely self taught and understands what it is to be a beginner and to be always learning. This makes her style of teaching very approachable, easy to understand, inclusive and encouraging.
Helen has a heart for working with individuals who find it difficult to access sewing lessons that suit them: either because English is not their first language or because of social anxiety or specific additional needs. She loves to see people grow in confidence over time as they discover the joy of sewing for themselves. Sessions can be flexible and tailored to the needs of the individual.
