This anthology of poems by American poet Henry Wadsworth Longfellow (1807-1882) includes The Song of Hiawatha and his translation of Dante's Divine Comedy (he was the first American to translate this work).
It's an early anthology, an antique collection from The Companion Books series published by Hurst and Company around 1918.
The book is in great condition for its age with a tan bookcraft leather cover with gold gilt lettering.
|Condition||Good condition. The bookcraft leather cover is well preserved, with just some slight signs of wear around the edges. The binding is firm but pages 11-18 have come away. The pages have browned with age but are clearly legible. There are brown age spots on the edges of the pages.|
