This dictionary, published in 1914, is fascinating to delve into to get a glimpse of life over 100 years ago. It's so much more than a dictionary, containing maps, popular names, flags and much more, including a chronological history of the world and parliamentary rules of order.
It's a beautiful volume in good condition for its age. It has a leather cover, red edges to the pages on all three sides, illustrations on almost every page, some colour illustrations too, and tabs for each letter of the alphabet so you can find your way around the dictionary more easily.
It would make a fantastic gift for a lover of history and a lover of words.
