When Picture Post was launched in 1938, it represented a new kind of British journalism where photographs dominated the reporting. When it stopped being produced in 1958, there was nothing in journalism to take its place and Picture Post is remembered by many people with great nostalgia to this day. This volume commemorates the 50th anniversay of the founding of Picture Post ans is a wonderful snapshot of days gone by.
